A simple way to make a set of cards for tablet/card weaving is to use a deck of playing cards and a hole punch. Playing cards work fine for simple weaves. If you are using a pattern that requires shifting cards to another "pack" (by picking it up and placing it to the side of another card) you will have better results with square cards.
